Man and Woman Stabbed in Lindbergh Bay

A man and woman who appear to be relatives were stabbed Sunday at a bar in the Lindbergh Bay area, the V.I. Police Department reported.

The names of the victims were not released by police in pursuance of department policy.

According to police at 4:49 a.m. Sunday police were dispatched to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital in reference to two stabbing victims.

The victims, a male and female, told police they had been stabbed at the Caoba Spanish Bar, located in Lindberg Bay. The female victim said she had a dispute with the suspect, who stabbed her and a male relative.

Both victims were transported by private vehicle to the hospital, where they received medical treatment.

The victims told officers they can positively identify the person who assaulted them.

Police urged anyone with information about the crime to contact 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 ext. 5579 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
