Merlene Gwynneth Thompson Williams

Merlene Gwynneth Thompson Williams died on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the age of 65 at Schneider Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her children: Andrea Thompson Kimmel, Jennifer Bass, Jarima Williams, Glancena Williams, Joseph Williams, Kerri Williams and Doric Williams; grandchildren: Shakeda Hanley, Tionne Hanley, J’moi Francis, Milford Thibou III, Deacon Kimmel and Jenessa Williams; sisters: Yvette Nisbett, Leonie Wattley, Evelyn Mckoy and Viola Williams; brothers: Joseph Liburd, Stanley Phillip, Valentine Thompson and Leo Thompson; nieces: Josephine Johnson, Marilyn Bass, Shauline Gabriel, Melvina Williams, Shawnette Samuel, Desharnet Prince and Kwanza Prince; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21, at the Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals.

The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Church of God of Prophesy, C5 Estate Hoffman. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, St. Thomas

Arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
