Smooth Caribbean music will fill the air at Tickles Dockside Pub from 7-10 p.m., Friday, May 18. Sammy Watts and his Combo will perform. Watts is a calypso vocalist and guitar player who has been part of the Caribbean music scene since he began playing in Nevis at age 14 on a stringed instrument homemade from a sardine can, nylon fishing line and a shingle.
Dinner specials and Tickle’s full dinner menu will be available throughout the performance. Dancers are welcome, and there is plenty of parking at Crown Bay Marina for both cats and boats.
Unlike many news organizations, we haven't put up a paywall - we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. Our sites are more popular than ever, but advertising revenues are falling - so you can see why we could use your help. Our independent journalism costs time, money and hard work to keep you informed, but we do it because we believe that it matters. If everybody who appreciates our reporting efforts were to help fund it for as little as $1, our future would be much more secure. Thanks in advance for your support!
