He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce R. Blyden; father, Harry H. Wilson; and brother, Don Blyden.

Roy L. Wilson is survived by his stepfather, Joseph Blyden; children: Anice Wilson-Wallen, Tiana Wilson-Matthew, Anisha R. Wilson, Danny Wilson, Oriesha Pena and Orietha Pena; and grandchildren: Kaylin L. Wallen, Aniss K. Wallen, Ian N. Wallen, Iyana A. Frett, Arianna K. Baker, Shyann S. Baker, Leando Asante, Tekemo Wilson, Khamani Khamys Williams, Estacie Bowe, Erelle Henriques, Larell Henriques Jr., Damarae Henriques, Aniyah Pena, Eniyah Parrish, Zaniyah Parrish and Laniyah Pena.

He is also survived by siblings: Dennis “Shabazz” Blyden, Dale “Malik” Blyden, Dean “Maha” Blyden, Dave “Kimbie” Blyden, Daryl “Leviticus” Blyden, Dwight “Exodus” Blyden, Dawn Wilson, Troy Rainn (Obedou), Joy Wilson-Farrington, Yonn (Duce) Wilson, William Wilson, Harry Wilson, Tamika Wilson and Mercedes Wilson; in-laws: Dahlia Blyden, Dennis J. Wallen and Shem W. Matthew; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral service that will be held on Friday, April 20, at Christ Church Methodist, Market Square. Tributes will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Western Cemetery No. 2.
