Artwork submitted for the contest must:
- capture the concept of the VI Toddlers’ Derby
- include the VI Carnival theme: “Embrace our culture, music and cuisine for Carnival 2018”
- have a neat and clean appearance for scanning purposes
- be signed by the student
The student’s name, school they attend, grade and contact information must be submitted with the artwork — but not written on the artwork. The student with the winning design will be awarded a prize and have their artwork placed on the 2018 Toddlers’ Derby T-shirts, which will be distributed to all Toddlers’ Derby contestants.
Participants are responsible for submitting all finished artwork to the VICC office by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2. All submitted artwork will become the property of the VI Carnival Committee.
The VI Carnival Committee looks forward to enthusiastic participation from elementary-age students, territory-wide.
