V.I. Carnival Committee Plans for Carnival 2018

Virgin Islands Carnival Committee

The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee (VICC) assures the public that plans for VI Carnival 2018 are ongoing. The annual carnival will be held in late March 2018. Despite disruptions caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria, the committee resumed planning meetings early in December 2017.

Though meetings were postponed in October and November, the committee is guaranteeing that VI Carnival will be as enjoyable as in previous years because of VICC’s early preparations, which began in July 2017.

The committee is currently considering slogan submissions, finalizing the carnival schedule, recruiting contestants and calypsonians, and sourcing sponsors.
