ALERT: Pilgrim’s Terrace Remains Closed to Residential Traffic Due to Repairs

The public is reminded that the Pilgrim’s Terrace By-Pass, which connects Mafolie Hill on the East (Route 35) and the Catherineberg Roundabout on the West (Route 379), is closed to residential traffic only.

The road has been severely damaged and compromised through the passing of the two major storms and remains unsafe for heavy vehicular traffic. Residents are also asked to please refrain from moving the barricades that currently block access to the roadway, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Public Works.

The road has been assessed by FEMA representatives; a project is being developed to complete the repairs as soon as possible.
