Chamber of Commerce Cancels Miracle on Main Street 2017

a past Miracle On Main Street

As the holidays are approaching, the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce has given a serious look at hosting Miracle on Main Street 2017.  The partners for this event are very stretched in their own recovery, and as much as all desire to do their part to boost holiday spirit, the Chamber has decided to cancel Miracle on Main Street this year, according to a press release issued Monday, Dec. 4, by the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce.

This event is a community partnership that requires significant resource commitments from government, businesses, charities, artists, entertainers and individuals who are currently overwhelmed just dealing with their own rebuilding.

The Chamber wishes everyone in the territory a wonderful holiday season; it looks forward to bringing the community many more years of Miracle on Main Street and the feeling of community it inspires.
