Viola A. Grant died on April 28.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 12, at the Apostolic Faith Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
She is survived by: children: Audrey Mlliner, Cyril Baa, Janet Body, Alcedo Francis, Keith Francis, Gilbert Kitnurse, Patricia Kitnurse, Emile Kitnurse and Salomon Kitnurse; brothers: Vincent Grant, Wilfred Grant, Alvin Grant and Julien Grant; sisters: Patricia Beatly, Eleanor Grant and Gwendolyn DeBerry; and grandchildren: Carl, Oswin, Carol and Roy Milliner, Tony Jr., Keith, Jermaine, Chinesta and Ronnie Baa, Kim, William III and Sha’Nae Body, Myoshi, Mondreko, Soundjata, Jabari, Jawanza and Osayande Francis, Korya Francis, Nicole Kitnurse Goodings, Patrice, Alva and Troy Benjamin, Leonile and Jamile Kitnurse, and Nyabinghi and Nyesha Kitnurse.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Cyril Battise’s children: Coreen Duran, Cyril Battise Jr. and Keith Battise; Vincent’s children: Denise, Lorraine, Lydia, Glenda and Vincent Jr. Grant; Wilfred’s children: Donna, Wilfred and Alvin Grant; Arthur’s child, Vernon Grant; Henry’s children: LeAndre, Gregory, Catina, Shiley and Troi Grant; Cecil’s children: Jacqueline, Beveley, Dennise and Cecil Jr.; Julien’s children: Jule, Jason, Dave, Daniel and Daomi; Antonio’s children: Antawn, John Anthony, Seymore and Stephan; and Eleanor’s children: Luben, Ruben, Imeh, Rudolph “Kado,” Rudel, Mahal, Vincent, Tana, Lionel, Kevin, “Kevy,” Shawn, Alex “Boots,” Phillips and Kareem.
