p>The girls of the Leonard Dober and Yvonne Bowsky schools did not disappoint the crowd that gathered at the Winston Raymo Center Monday afternoon. In a tight ballgame, it came down to 15 seconds left in regulation time with the score Bowsky, 12, and Dober, 10.
Yemeli Rodriguez took the ball to the hoop and scored, tying the game up with 3 seconds left, which sent the game into overtime. Qy’sha Benjamin (Bowsky) and Rodriguez (Dober) took it to each other’s team with their best efforts. Both teams played well.
