Absentee Ballots Sent Out on September 23

The public, particularly individuals who are members of the military who are off-island or overseas voters and fall under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), are informed that absentee ballots were sent out on Friday, Sept. 23, as mandated by the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act, according to a press release issued Sept. 27 by Election Systems Supervisor Caroline Fawkes.
The public can obtain a copy of the sample ballots at the Web site: http://www.vivote.gov
