Man Found Dead Near Ross Taarenberg

A man identified by the V.I. Police Department as Milton Gardon, 53, was found dead Saturday by officers responding to a 911 call.

According to police, at approximately 1:20 p.m. Saturday the 911 center dispatched officers to a report of an unresponsive black male lying motionless on the ground in the vicinity of Ross Taarenberg.

The responding officers found the body identified as Gardon. Emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead on the scene. The medical examiner team then transported the body to the morgue, where the case now awaits autopsy results.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to notify the Major Crimes unit at 340-714-9823 ext. 5617, Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-714-9807 ext. 5556, the Chief’s Office at 340-774-2211, or the anonymous tip service Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1800-222-8477.
