Henry Timothy Joseph Dies

Henry Timothy Joseph Friends and relatives are advised of the passing of Henry Timothy Joseph, affectionately known as “Timothy” or “Timo.” Timothy was the last surviving male of the original Chinaman Clan.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Leslie “Ada” Evens-Joseph; two sons: Henry A. Joseph and Melvin Joseph Sr.; and five daughters: Sandra Joseph, Shelia Clarke, Priscilla Berry, Maria Joseph and Julia Joseph-Simon; eight stepchildren.
Timothy is also survived by three sisters: Edith Kean, Eugena Rivera and Beatrice Benjamin; son-in law, Roland Simon; daughters-in- law: Nellie and Hope Joseph; a brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at the Celestial Chapel at Hurley Funeral Home.
A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Nisky Moravian Church. Interment will be at Nisky Moravian Cemetery.
