Adani Queeley, 23, of Grand View, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault and battery/ domestic violence in connection with an incident that occurred March 26, the V.I. Police Department reported.
According to the police, Queeley attacked the victim, a former girlfriend, near Lindbergh Bay. The victim, whose name was not released by the VIPD, told police she was on the beach with her friends when Queeley suddenly appeared, walked up to her and punched her in the face. Queeley then reportedly kicked the victim, causing her to “blackout” and took their minor daughter, according to the VIPD. He then left the beach.
Police contacted Queeley on April 1. After interviewing him, they arrested Queeley and charged him with aggravated assault and battery/ domestic violence. No bail was set for Queeley and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.
