A special meeting of the University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, in Room 303 of the Administration and Conference Center on St. Thomas and in Room A-204, in the Great House on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The meeting will begin with a motion to approve the minutes from the Oct. 25 and Nov. 17, board meetings. The board will then discuss the fiscal year 2016 appropriation request to the Government of the Virgin Islands. An executive session will follow the discussion. The board will return to regular session and report actions taken in executive session before being adjourned.
The trustees voted unanimously to waive the 10-day notice required in advance of a board meeting in order to assemble in time to meet the Office of Management and Budget’s document submission deadline.
