CBCC Forum to Discuss Coral Bay’s Drinking Water, Wastewater

The Coral Bay Community Council will provide an update on the drinking water (potable water) and the wastewater grant CBCC received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture at its forum at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9. This grant has provided funds to take a look at Coral Bay’s water and wastewater systems and describe options to improve these systems where necessary.
At the forum, CBCC will talk about the results of the water and wastewater surveys conducted last year, explain this spring’s groundwater dye study, and discuss options with the community for supplying water to Coral Bay and providing wastewater treatment. There will be brief updates on other community concerns, also.
The CBCC Forum series is held every Monday night at 6-7 p.m. at the Johns Folly Learning Institute in Coral Bay on Route 107 (sign on left says “Catholic Mass, Sundays”).
For more information, call the CBCC Office at 776-2099.
