Police on St. Thomas arrested Jabari Hodge on Wednesday afternoon and charged him with assault in a case that took place last summer.
According to police, Hodge was identified as the person who assaulted a 24-year-old man in the Red Hook area on Aug. 2.
Hodge, 23, was arrested based on a warrant about 2:45 p.m. He was charged with first-degree assault, third-degree assault, using a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence, and aiding and abetting. He was placed on a $75,000 bail and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
