Officials Looking for Run-Away Girl

The Department of Human Services and the V.I. Police Department are looking for a 17-year-old minor who is missing from the V.I. Behavioral Services Diagnostic and Crisis Stabilization Center on St. Croix.

Jalima Jones left the Adult Education School without authorization in the early afternoon hours Monday. She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs about 260 pounds, and has dark brown hair and eyes. When she left the school she was wearing purple-colored pants and a white tank top covered by a black shirt. Jones also wore a curly hair weave and silver hoop earrings.

Anyone who may know of Jones’ whereabouts or has seen her is asked to contact the VIPD Juvenile Bureau at 1-340-715-5541 or 1-340-778-2211.

Human Services reminded the community that anyone found to be harboring Jones or aiding her can face criminal charges.
