Armed Thieves Take Man's Wallet and Car Outside Nightclub

A man walked out to his car in the parking lot of the Lime Nightclub in La Grande Princess early Sunday and was approached by two masked and armed suspects who robbed him and took his car, the V.I. Police Department said in a news release Monday.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 4 a.m. Sunday. The victim said the suspects were dressed entirely in black and demanded money from him as well as the keys to his vehicle. The suspects took his wallet with about $100 in cash in it and drove away with his vehicle.

The vehicle was later found torched in the Little Fountain area.

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives continue to investigate this case.
