Noel Eugene Brin Dies at 62

Noel Eugene Brin Noel Eugene Brin, also known as "Mr. Rex” or “Nolly," of Estate Orange Grove died on Aug. 15 at age 62. He was the former owner of Rex Records Store.
He is survived by his spouse, Rita Durant-Brin; daughter, Amanda Brin; son, Okechi Brin; sister, Thelma Butler; brothers: Algernon Mitchum, David Taylor, Augustin Brin, Alexis Brin, Daniel Brin and Edward Brin; sisters-in-law: Armelle Brin, Averil Brin, Wendy Mitchum, Bernice Jacobs, Dafney Fahie, Marva Durant, Barbara Mactavious and Anola Turnbull; brothers-in-law: Roosevelt Butler, Julian Turnbull, Dennis Mactavious Jr., Weldin Jacobs and Floyd Fahie; nieces: Danien Brin and Danique Brin; nephews: Marc Brin, Kevin Hanley, Justin Brin, Duane Butler and Theophilius Mitchum; godchildren: Patrick Robinson Jr. and Tyrone Fahie; aunt, Marguerite (Cadette) Brin; uncle, Douglas Thompson; special friends: Sophia Phillips, Stafford Smith, Steve Smith, Trevor Parshay, Ray Trant, Albert Harrigan, Patrick Robinson and Tony Essandeson; cousins and other relatives: relatives of the Brin family on St. Barths, the Virgin Islands and the U.S.A., relatives of the Wharton, Thompson and Ham families of St. Kitts and Nevis; as well as other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, at Bethel Methodist Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
