Irma J. M. Kelsick Dies at 62

Irma J. M. Kelsick Irma J. M. Kelsick of Estate Sunny Acres died on July 25 at her residence. She was 62 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Kelsick; father, Gilroy Kirby; stepchildren and adopted stepchildren: Olivia Kelsick (St. Croix), Robin Kelsick (Va.), Lorrel Kelsick-Walters (Va.), Marvo Kelsick (ANU); adopted step-grandchildren: Kembo and Shenique Joseph (ANU), Robin, Kareem, Sharmani, Dominique and Jhadecia (Va.); sisters: Joan Kirby, Myrna Williamson, Rose-Claire Kirby, Cordella Elvin and Rosalie Michael; and brothers: Prince Kirby and adopted brother Evans Kirby.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Henry, Junior, Dyan, Dionne, Deana, Carolyn, Jamil, Omah, Kasham, Cecil, Charles, Crystal, Shane, Tamara, Lesha, Shakia and Shamarla Michael; aunts and uncles: Rubell Ladoo, Glenor Thomas, Aaron Henry and Rev. David Henry; mother-in-law, Idona Kelsick; Brothers In-Law: Renford Kelsick (Anguilla), Maurice, Bazil, Steven and Peter Kelsick (ANU) and Rex Michael (St. Thomas); sisters-in-law: Islyn, Uldeen, Sonia, Donna and Myra Kelsick, and Lucille Charles; and cousins: Arnold Goodwin and family, Monica Jacobs and family, the Sargent family, Joyce Kirby-Brewer and family, Rita Henry and family, Emily Almestica and family, Aldeen Glasgow and family, the Kirby, Brown, Friday, Romeo, Ambrose, Payne, John, Joseph,Thomas and Sargent families.
Other survivors include close family friends: Oliver Bailey and family, Pauline Thomas (Chauffer) and family, Florence (Boocoo) Drew and family, Samuel Dowdye and family, Frederica (Naomi) Browne and family, Merle Williams and family, Janet Dublin and family, the St. John’s Episcopal Church family and the WE DEH YAH Cultural Dance family; as well as other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
*If we have forgotten to mention a name or two, please remember it was not intentional because you are our friends and family, and that is true.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
