Man Shot in Thigh at Estate Glynn Grocery Store

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives on St. Croix are investigating the nonfatal shooting of a man that occurred about 11:15 p.m. Monday in Estate Glynn.

The victim, whose name was not released in accord with a V.I. Police policy to not identify victims, was shot in his right thigh and foot.

The victim told police he was leaving a grocery store in the area when a masked man got out of a vehicle and shot him. The victim said he could not describe anything about the shooter, his weapon or vehicle.

He was treated and released from the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center.
