Memorial Service for Malcolm A. Jackson Planned for July 6

Malcolm A. Jackson Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at the James Memorial Funeral Chapel in La Grande Princesse, St. Croix, for Malcolm A. Jackson, also known as “Butch.” He died on May 7 at age 64 on St. Thomas. A former police officer and seaman, Malcolm loved the water. He lived on it and died on it, and, at his request, his ashes will be returned to it.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Gereau Bond; siblings: Richard Gereau Bond, Annette Bond Roth, Edith Burnett Bond, Jacqueline Bond Browne and Marjorie Jackson Jones; aunt, Erminie Harrigan Gereau; cousins: Sezelle Gereau Haddon, Beaumont Gereau, Annette Gereau, Edith Gereau, Jacqueline Gereau, Gustave Gereau Jr., Kimberly Gereau, Clyde Knight, Roy Seibenhoven and family, Shelley Thomas, Juliette Thomas, Norma Jackson Simmonds, Lorna Jackson Perez, Sonia Jackson Setorie, Ilma Jackson Christian, Lydia Nico Thomas and family, Carmen Quetel George, Ann Quetel Whiting, Captain Al Quetel; nieces and nephews: Jacob Bond, Melanie Roth, Matthew Roth and Abigail Roth; and many other friends and relatives, including Gene Plaskett, Deseree Ritter Lambertis, Vargrave and Denise Richards and family, Marjorie Brown and family as well as other members of the Gereau, Jackson and Davis families of St. Croix and St. Thomas.
