The V.I. Police Department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday in Estate Frydenhoj as 41-year-old Patroy Williams, a native of Jamaica who resided in the area.
Detectives from the Major Crime Bureau are still seeking the public’s assistance in solving the murder, urging anyone who may have seen the victim that day to call detectives at 1-340-642-8449, the 911 emergency dispatch center, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
At about 1 a.m. Tuesday officers responding to a 911 call found Williams face down on a road in Estate Frydenhoj. Emergency medical technicians who attempted to assist the victim said they could not detect any vital signs.
