Drusilla Bernice Calistro Harrigan Dies at 93

D. Bernice Calistro Harrigan died on May 23 at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 93years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonia A. Harrigan Dalmida; sons: Dr. Ronald E. Harrigan Sr. and Aubrey A. Harrigan; stepsons: Lorne A. Harrigan and Wade A. Harrigan; son-in-law, Alvin F. Dalmida Sr.; daughter-in-law, Dr. Sandra Oliver Harrigan; grandchildren: Vernon A. Venzen (deceased), Vincent P. Venzen and Annette B. Dalmida Scatliffe, Ronald E. Harrigan Jr., Richard E. Harrigan, Renan E. Harrigan and Donna Harrigan; step-grandchildren: Alvin F. Dalmida Jr., Chantel Harrigan, Noel James, Tanesha Harrigan, Roslyn Daniel, Ray Harrigan, Trisha Harrigan and Knatasha Harrigan; grandchildren-in-law: Sheldon R. Scatliffe, Tamika Graham Harrigan, Tami Blair Harrigan and Ja’Nel Moorehead Harrigan; and great-grandchildren: Sherrell, Alexis and Tyler Venzen, Shane and Seth Scatliffe, Malik Shabazz, Riona and Sanai Harrigan, and Alana and Alannique Jacobs; great-great grandchild, Jazelle A. Williams.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Viola N. Calistro Blake (deceased), Theodore Calistro (deceased) , Felix Calistro (deceased), Felicia (Valrie) Calistro (deceased), Isabelle Calistro (deceased), Beryl Calistro Best (deceased), Melita Calistro Barthlett, Medina Calistro Scatliffe and Altagracia Calistro Padilla; sisters-in-law: Alice Harrigan and Panzella Harrigan; nieces and nephews: children of the late Viola N. Calistro Blake , Theodore Calistro, Felix Calistro, Isabelle Calistro, Beryl Calistro Best, children of Melita Calistro Barthlett, Medina Calistro Sprauve Scatliffe and Altagracia Calistro Padilla; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, at Davis Funeral Home. It will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
