Pauline LynchThe Division of Banking and Insurance, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, continues to work toward its goal of strengthening the territory’s regulatory environment through employee training. Pauline Lynch, a financial services examiner for the division, has attained the designation of associate professional in insurance regulation through the National Association of Insurance Commissioner (NAIC) Professional Designation Program. The associate professional designation certifies that she has completed specific educational requirements and mastered a broad range of regulatory competencies.
An employee of the division since 2009, Lynch’s responsibilities as a financial services examiner include investigating customer and business related complaints, and monitoring regulatory compliance of financial services and insurance providers doing business in the territory. She has a Master’s degree in accounting and over 15 years of experience in the financial industry.
Lynch will soon begin courses needed for certification as a professional in insurance regulation. To date, three other employees of the Division of Banking and Insurance have also attained the designation of associate professional in insurance regulation and are working towards achievement of the professional in insurance regulation certification.
