Damasina Saldaña Dies at 97

Damasina SaldanaDamasina Saldaña of Estate La Grande Princess died on May 8, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Medical Center. She was 97 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Petra S. Torres, Alejandra S. Nico, Juana S. Torres and Felipa S. Rosario; sons: Serafine Suarez, Angel Suarez and Jose L. Suarez; adopted son, Stanley Jacobs; grandchildren: Lydia E. Ruiz, Magarita Morales, Zulma N. Torres, Angel B. Torres Jr., David W. Rosario, Bruce A. Rosario, Janissa S. Lewis, Mike J. Suarez, Elizabeth, Marie, Liza, Tanairi, Angel and Anthony Suarez, and Vanessa S. Segedy; daughters-in-law: Shirley Suarez, Lydia Encarnacion and Carmencita Suarez; sons-in-law: Jesus Torres, Nicasio Nico II, Celestino Rosario Jr. and Angel B. Torres Sr.; special nieces and goddaughters: Cayita and Juani Torres (caregiver); special nephew, Alenjandro Torres (Yeyo); special friend, Rufina Saldaña (Tina); and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
