Lachandro Donovan, better known as “Leandro,” died on May 7. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his sons: Don Donovan, Dale Donovan, Ivin Donovan and Ira Donovan; daughter, Diana Donovan; sisters: Ada Farrington and Bianca Dawson; brothers: James Wendell Donovan, Godfrey Donovan, Roosevelt Donovan and Frederick Donovan; sisters-in-law: Edris Donovan, Bernice Potter, Murlise Stoutt Richards, Daphnie Stoutt, Gwendolyn Donovan, Wisteria Donovan, Noami Donovan and Joanna Donovan; special friends: Elisha “Lishah” Fraizer, Ruth E. Thomas “Educator,” Gorda Gothlieb and Jane Donovan; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Carrot Bay Methodist Church, Tortola. Interment will follow alt Smith and Dawson Burial Ground, Carrot Bay, Tortola.
