Gilles G. Lewis of Mutual Homes Project died on April 18 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Candida A. Lewis; daughters: Olivia Roberts and Judith Lewis; stepsons: Andre Finney and Nelson "Jorge" Leonardo; stepdaughter, Marisol Almestica; grandchildren: Dixion Lewis Jr., Letisha Lewis, Tishana Lewis, Dixion Martin and Janile Lewis; son-in-law, Patrickson Roberts; special brother, Hennis Lewis; brothers: Jills Lewis and Albert Lewis; sisters: Milutine Victorine, Martha Lewis, Francis Powell, Rita Mascall, Annadette Francios and Coreen Delsol; sisters-in-law: Deltina Lewis and Desarie Lewis; and brothers-in-law: Earl Powell, Adison Francios, Frankline Desol and Celaire Victorine.
He is also survived by nieces: Marcia, Josica and Takicia Thomas, Natalie Byam, Jenny Lewis, Addishia Francios, Cilie, Annboose, Nathalie, Sabrina Powell, Tavani Lewis and Maydine; nephews: Natt, Carl, Garvine, Shawn Simpson, Hasani, Michael Aaron, Dale, Kurt, Ronny and Kelvin; special friends: Peter and family, Paul (Dominica), Skinney, Bernard, Eddie Schuster, Julian, Pinkey, Steve, Abrile, Tito, Gladys Lopez and family,Anita Mattews and family, Mr. Cruz and Norbert Auguste; special thanks to Dr. Ventura and nurses at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center; as well as other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, at Kingshill Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
