Cops Make Arrests for Robbery, Domestic Violence, Indecent Exposure

Police on St. Thomas made arrests recently in separate cases on charges including robbery, domestic violence assault and indecent exposure, according to the V.I. Police Department.

  • Jamie Robert, 20, and Clement King, 21, were arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree robbery. The suspects were identified as the men who assaulted and robbed a 17-year-old of his cell phone on Feb. 16 in Estate Smith Bay. The suspects were held on bail of $150,000 each and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
  • Terrance Anthony was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree assault/domestic violence. Police said Anthony, 57, hit his 30-year-old nephew in the face with a machete following an argument about trash that was left on the porch of the residence they share. The incident happened in Estate Nadir at about 10:30 a.m. Anthony was arrested the same day at about 9:15 p.m. Bail was denied in accordance with the domestic violence law.
  • A man was arrested for indecent exposure after he was found walking naked on the St. Thomas waterfront just after 6 a.m. Thursday. Police reported that the man was very aggressive toward the officers when he was asked to put on his clothes. Officers apprehended the suspect, who did not have any ID on him and was uncooperative toward the officers. The suspect was taken to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment.
