Earl Alphonso Sewer Dies at 74

Earl Alphonso Sewer died on April 12. He was 74 years old.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Samuel O. Sewer; his sisters: Judith Callwood, Lucinda Anthony and Marilyn Woodley; and his brothers: Warren Sewer, Loring Sewer and Edmund Sewer. He is survived by his spouse, Annette DeWindt-Sewer; daughter, Andrea E. Sewer; sisters: Lorrel Sewer and O. Violet Mahabir; sisters-in-law: Dahlia Isaacs, Lelia Felix, Alicia DeWindt and Una DeWindt; brother, Irvin Sewer; brothers-in-law: Randolph DeWindt Jr., Loftus Woodley and Kendell Anthony Sr.; and grandchildren: Kyle Querrard, Ce’Dre Roberts and Ce’Andre Roberts.

He is also survived by nieces: Sherrie Woodley, Lisa Woodley, Tessonie Anthony-Connor, Lynell Anthony-Lowery, Celia Anthony, Irvia Anthony-Sullivan, Kharid Mahabir-Wallace and Jasmine Mahabir; nephews: Luen Anthony, Kendell Anthony, Lyndall Anthony, Loring Callwood, Leon Callwood, Clive Sewer, Samuel Sewer, Gerald Sewer, Cleve Mahabir and Marcus Mahabir; many other nieces and nephews near and far; special adopted children: Tess Monsanto and Gianni Smalls; special friends: Judge and Mrs. Ishmael Meyers, the Querrard family, Karen Frederickson and Diane Georges; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 8 a.m. followed by funeral services at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Memorial Moravian Church. Burial will be at Hansen Bay Cemetery, St. John.
