David Civil died on March 29.
He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Payne; father, James Civil; and wife, Louisa Civil. He is survived by his son, Albert Civil; daughters: Shirley Brown and Evette Civil; brother, Claude George; grandchildren: David Brown, Derrick Brown, Rasheem Civil, Jamoi Civil, Paris Civil, Jamare Civil, Tamika Nickeo , Rashawn Prentice, Jamarie Andreaws, Joseph Andreaws, Jelanie Andreaws, Rasheed Prentices and Omarie Henderickson; nine great-grandchildren; nephews: Ezra Cipionking, Clayton Walker, Steven Walker and Joseph Walker; nieces: Cleota Hill, Collette Thompson, Marva, Evelyn Herbert and Ino; stepsons: Ezekiel Prentice and Elston Prentice; stepdaughters: Jacklyn Henderickson and Gweneth Prentice; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 15, at Christ Methodist Church, Market Square. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
