St. John Recyclers Reschedules Monthly Meetings

The St. John Recyclers has rescheduled its monthly meetings to coincide with Green Thursdays so it can bring its GoGreenVI initiatives to the table with IGBA, GHS, and any other organizations and individuals interested in “Reduce, Reuse and Recycling” efforts on St. John. The next Recycler’s meeting will take place at 4:45 p.m. at Gifft Hill School’s downstairs back patio.
The continuing topic is: how to expand the successful aluminum can recycling effort to include glass and plastic. After the meeting, attendees will join GHS’s potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. with guest speaker Nate from Ridge to Reef Farm, and they will find out more about IGBA’s plans to expand their ReSource Depot.
For more information or to join the St. John Recyclers, call Celia at the St. John Community Foundation at 693-9410 or e-mail allawe@sjcf.org.
