Julia Hansen Jones, also known as "Julie," of Estate Mountpellier died on Feb.13, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Jones Stone-Brown and Judith Jones McKinley; son, Minnard H. Jones Jr.; grandchildren: Gene H. Stone and Jeffrey A. Jones; great-grandchildren: Genesha Stone, Jeffrey Jones Jr. and Jahlem Jones; adopted great-grandchildren: Malachi, Chastidy and Christine Farrelly; sisters: Estelle Skov and Agneta Diaz; nieces: Anita Skov Parisi, Linda Skou, Juanita Ice, Barbara Jones and Ellen Marie Jones; nephews: Jens Diaz and Robert Todman; great nieces: Joleen Todman, Farleen Diaz and Jenelle Diaz; great nephews: Eric Hansen, Nicholas Parisi, Joshua Morales and Jarryd Todman; special friend, Amparo Gerard; and other relative and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
