A 24-year-old man was shot multiple times just before 10 p.m. Sunday near Estate Glynn on St. Croix, the Police Department indicated in a Monday press release.
The shooting happened outside a group of businesses on the Estate Glynn Road. When police arrived at the scene, the victim was already taken by private vehicle for treatment to the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. Police were not able to speak to the victim at the hospital due to his medical treatment.
Police believe a vehicle left the scene of the shooting and are asking for assistance in identifying it. The vehicle may have gunshot damage, police said.
