An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death early Sunday, according to the V.I. Police Department. The victim, identified as Kashawn Stephens, was attacked and stabbed inside the Hush nightclub, and another man stabbed in the same incident is being treated at Schneider Regional Medical Center.
Police were notified of the stabbings a few minutes after 3 a.m. Sunday. Police said 911 operators dispatched emergency medical technicians to the scene, and the victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police were notified by medical personnel that Stephens later died from his injuries, and the second victim needed surgery.
Police are again asking for the assistance of anyone who may have been present at the scene or know anything about what occurred inside the Hush Nightclub.
