VIWMA Seeking Citizens Advisory Committee Volunteers

The V.I. Waste Management is looking for volunteers to serve on a territorial Citizens Advisory Committee. The CAC will serve as a community-based group of individuals who will assist the VIWMA in developing short and long range plans as it pertains to waste management in the Virgin Islands. Join VIWMA at one of these meetings:
St. Thomas
Tuesday, May 22nd, at the Windward Passage Hotel from 6-8 p.m.
St. John
Wednesday, May 23rd, at UVI’s Academic Center at the Marketplace from 6-8 p.m.
St. Croix
Thursday, May 24th, at the Department of Education’s Curriculum Center in Kingshill from 6-8 p.m.

Interested parties can also download an application to become a CAC member on the VIWMA Web site at www.viwma.org under Community Outreach. For more information, contact VIWMA’s Office of Communications Management at 690-4218.
