Caribbean Education Initiative Holds Women’s Conference

The Caribbean Education Initiative (CEI) will initiate the first Women Wise Conference on May 2-3, in conjunction with Parent University and the St. Croix Department of Education Office of School Community Relations with the goal of providing an engaging, interdisciplinary forum in which young women will be educated on various topics ranging from health and wellness to career development.
The conference will feature performances by accomplished, innovative recording artist Ce’Cile and Mada Nile. Girls, if you are a junior high or high school student in our region – CEI wants to hear your voice. Join it at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, at the Charlotte Amalie High School Auditorium or on May 3 at the Educational Complex High School Auditorium. The event should last between 90 minutes and two hours.
