Ashila Natanya Frett Dies in Georgia

Ashila Natanya Frett died on April 8, at Emery Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

She is survived by her mother, Cindy George-Roberts; father, Ashley Frett Jr.; stepfather, Ernest Roberts; sons: D’Quan Rogers and Le’Quan George; daughters: Tremaine George, Sheraine George, Sherelle George and Dherelle Simon; brothers: Raymond Mercer, C’Keem Lewis and Ashley Frett III; sisters: April Frett, Avril Frett- Brown, Ashana Frett and Ashara Frett; grandmother, Helena Barnes; and aunts: Roberta Sebastien, Alicia Barnes, Alvira Barnes, Masely George, Mulray George, Delma George, Lisa George, Debra George and Eastlyn Frett.
She is also survived by uncles: Elvis George, Arthur Barnes Jr., Dennis Corraspe, Erridan George, Avery Frett Sr., Ansley Frett and Ashton Frett Sr.; great aunts: Mayrose Smith and Vivian Smith; great uncles: Alonzo Smith and Lawrence Smith; nieces: Haile Benta, Aunique Brown, A’Deja Frett, A’Jah Frett, Sa’nyah Mercer, Akajahlie McSween, Le’niya Lewis and Ashayla Frett; nephews: Amachai Brown, Akijah Benta and Raykwon Mercer; significant other, Glen Simon; special friends: Reginia Henley, Loriel Weeks, Linnai-Ann Camacho, Nicole Richards, Lenora Rochester and LaToya Rochester; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 23, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at St. Thomas Assembly of God. Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 2.
