Generation Now! Holds Seventh University Series Community Forum

Generation Now! Inc., in partnership with the University of the Virgin Islands, will be hosting a community forum entitled “From Potential to Prosperity II” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3. In its seventh university series at UVI’s St. Croix Campus Great Hall, Generation Now! Inc. invites the student body and the general public to come witness and contribute their knowledge and opinions to a timely and lively discussion on the future of economic development on St. Croix.
Panelists will be offering thoughts on potential pathways to St. Croix’s economic recovery. The presenters will include: Donovan Hamm; Dan Mcintosh; Dr. Arthur Petersen, and Malcolm McGregor. The intended topics for discussion include agribusiness, tourism, the gaming industry and industrial development on St. Croix.
This community forum is a follow up to a previous and similarly titled university series event that focused on several development projects that were in the works at the time. Years later, and having realized no prosperity from those projects, the needs for economic growth and development are even greater.
