Mildred Williams Dead at 92

Mildred Williams of Estate Calquohoun died on March 23 at her residence.
She is predeceased by her sons: Edwardo Richards, Federico Williams and Charles Messer; She is survived by her son, Winston Williams Sr.; daughters: Rosalie Messer-Clendenin, Eunice Edwards, Linda McIntosh and Silva Gibbs; grandchildren: Valerie Williams, Rosalie Williams, Elston Williams, Federico Williams Jr., Craig Williams Lisa Williams-Coulter, Themanya Williams, Winston Williams Jr., Mildred Makeba Williams, Shani Williams, Charlene Messer-Hicks, Dolly J. Messer, Jolene Edwards, Radiance Davila; and great-grandchildren: Akil Thomas, Saeed Payne, Nybo and Nyra Rodgers, Franklin Johnson Jr., Naisha Francis, Karimah and Sapphira Hendricks, Joshua and Utasha Spencer, Hapma Williams, Symandi Horsford, Jahfy Baxter, Elisha, Adisha, Nasha and Nasheem Wiliams, Craig Williams Jr., Leasia Hicks, Nigel Gerald, Sheba Messer, Tashawn Knight, Kyra and Bria Rouse;
She is also survived by great-great grandchildren: Elijah Degout, Sapphira McLeod, Ukia Spencer, Keilliama, Emmanuel and Kyla Rosa, Kiajah Spencer, Daniel Steven Jr.; daughters-in-law: Aracelis Alverez de Williams and Asta Henly Williams; godchildren: Corleena Brooks, Latoya Quinland Pemberton and Elton Hodge; relatives: the Williams family, the Messer family, the Miller family, Theodore Brow and family; special friends: Johanna Williams, Josephine Hodge, Josephine Hector, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hanley, Joan J. Petersen, Mary Griffith, Nedra Grant and family, Anadia Andrews, Ruth Henneman, Janice Miranda and family, Angeline Petrus, Marva Brooks and family, La Paz Hospice, Rufina Dalson, Lisa Richards, Lisa Santiago, Dr. Matthew and Dr. Lakhram; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 30, at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
