Camping at Salt River Columbus Landing Site Require Permits

Campers are reminded that permits are required to camp on the Columbus Landing Site at Salt River Bay during the Easter holidays, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources. Permits will be issued for camping from Wednesday, April 4 through Monday, April 9. Guidelines and permits are available at the DPNR – Virgin Islands State Historic Preservation Office located at Fort Frederik Museum and the Division of Environmental Enforcement at Anna’s Hope.
