Dario J. Moore Teaches Dance Classes at St. John School of the Arts

St. John School of the Arts will host dancer/teacher/choreographer/director Dario J. Moore, founder and artistic director of Moore Dance Project, Florida’s first and only African-American professional dance ensemble. Moore has been featured on PBS Television, FOX News and the Daily Buzz Morning Talk Show; he was named Seminole County’s Artist of the Year (2006) and honored for excellence in arts education by the Florida Alliance for Arts Education (2011).
He will be teaching a free African Dance class for students ages 8 and up from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. It will be followed by a Contemporary Dance class for ages 12 years to adults from 6:30 – 7:45. The second class will cost $20.
Call to reserve a space at 779-4322. St. John School of the Arts is located behind Sprauve School next to Grace Chapel (old Legislature location).
