Two St. Croix men were arrested about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Marley Apartments in Frederiksted when detectives executed a search and arrest warrant, following up to shots that were fired March 2 in Bethlehem Village.
Police arrested Angel L. Ilarraza, 20, and charged him with first degree reckless endangerment and possession of ammunition. He was held on $75,000 bail.
Miguel Ilarraza, 18, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He was held on a $10,000 bail.
Detectives said a resident in the area heard shots, went outside, and found that his vehicle had several bullet holes in it.
During the search at Marley Apartments, police allegedly confiscated a large amount of cash, 22 grams of crack cocaine and 11 rounds of live .40-caliber ammunition.
The suspects were remanded to the custody of the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
