Shamal Smith Sr. died on Feb. 24.
He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Liburd; father, Randolph Smith; sisters: Symrah, Shackera and Shackia Christopher, Sherla, Shenay, Sasha and Sacari Liburd, Nerissa and Vidal Lewis; children: Shamal Smith Jr., Sian and Shane Smith; aunts: Linette Smith, Rosetta Fleming and Emerald Liburd; uncles: Emanuel Liburd and Stanley Fleming; special cousin, Delroy Fleming; cousins: Kaela and Kenesha Liburd; and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 9, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at St. Andrew’s Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
