Medicare Beneficiaries Invited to Town Hall Meeting

The Virgin Islands State Health Insurance Program (SHIP), in conjunction with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), invite Medicare beneficiaries on St. Thomas to attend a town hall meeting that will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13. The meeting will be held at the Windward Passage Hotel, according to a press release issued on Thursday by VI SHIP.
The town hall meeting is an opportunity for Medicare beneficiaries, care givers, family members and the general public to voice their concerns and ask questions about the Medicare program and Affordable Care Act. Top level officials from the CMS will be present to respond to questions regarding the Medicare program.
For additional information please contact the VI SHIP office on St. Croix at 772-7368 or on St. Thomas/St. John at 714-4354.
