Miss Charlotte Amalie H.S. Pageant Set for March 3

This year’s Miss Charlotte Amalie High School Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, in the Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium. The 2012 contestants are: Monnicia Martin, Adisha Penn, Ayanna Phillips and Marlyka Williams.
Judges will be scoring the young women in several categories, from evening and swimwear, to their introductory speeches. There will also be an impromptu question and answer round. Along with the selection of a queen and runners-up, awards, including Miss Intellect, Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality, will also be given out.
“The pageant promises to be exciting and entertaining,” CAHS Principal Carmen Howell said. “We hope to see everyone out supporting our contestants.”
