Cynthanise Prospere Dies at 58

Cynthanise Prospere, also known as "Sister Prospere," of Estate Grove Place died on Feb. 15 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 58 years old.

She is survived by her husband, George Prospere; daughter, Cheryl Prospere; stepdaughter, Janice Clifford; special daughters: Franchesca Felix (also known as Jessica), Jolia Laforce and Amanda Brinkley; sons: Alvin, Gilton, Evastos and Andra Prospere; son-in-law, Leran Clifford; grandchildren: Kenya Horsford, Sherman Joseph, Shanel Toutouyoute, Damian and Ava Prospere, De Angelo, Sharome, Adriana and Glona Prospere, Josiah Clifford and Shaniah Clifford; sisters-in-law: Felicia Taylor, Theresa Joseph, Carmela Prospere, Cynthia Prospere, Irene Prospere and Jcintha Prospere; and brothers-in-law: Victor, Michael, Dedacas, Benji and Peter Prospere, Richard Maxwell, Plaud JnBaptist, George Daniel, Morrel Moffat, Gilbert King and Evard Charlery.
She is also survived by sisters: Mary Maxwell, Berthilia Daniel, Mary Charlery, Judith Moffat, Felicia Jordan, Maryanna JnBaptist and Estheline King; brothers: Mark Joseph and Manus Taylor; nieces: Shirely, Dora, Medrika, Verna, Bernice, Sandra, Linda, Veronica, Christie, Dian, Eldry, Shernell, Laura, Paula, Lindy, Debora, Edline, Nedia, Edicia, Anicia, Kashia, Shera, Celiene, Merlina, Tricia, Leandra, Nyla, Tyla, Annatalia, Brenda, Curline, Nadilia, Lisa, Talisa, Merlisa, Velina and Agnest; and nephews: Rickey, Tony and Ian Maxwell, Conrad, Melvin, Junior, Jason, Mervin, Danny, Damian, Kendell, Alishous, Nigel, Jackie, Byran, Merkaw and Mergiva.
Other survivors include great nieces: Nadra, Delia, Maisha, Lorina, Leana, Mellisa, Sherlin, Tania, Cora, Corina and Michelle; great nephews: Garl, Michal, Malcom, Johnny, Elias, Connie and Ian; aunts: Ulani Taylor and Albertha Jordan; uncles: Connilius Jordan, Gerade, Simon, David and Charles Taylor; special friends: Claudia Williams, Lucy Theliam, Jeprina Cenac, Stansila Charles, Vivian Charles, Lucia Marcella, Marceline Charlery, Julita Lewis and Christine; cousins and other relatives: the King-James family, Jameson family, Calix family, Mary Johnney, Samuel family and Island Baptist Church members, Taylor family, Sealys family and the Jordan family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Island Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
