Emmaline Thomas Dies

Emmaline Thomas, better known as "Nana" or "Emme’" died on Feb. 3.

Emmaline Thomas is survived by her sons: Ronnie R. Hunt and Irvin E. Williams Sr.; adopteddaughter, Faye Robinson; granddaughters:Naujamah (Naji) Evans, Andrea M. Williams-Bates and Nakia P. Williams; grandsons:Irvin E. Williams Jr. and Dr. Cranos M. Williams; great-grandchildren:Kiandria D. Allen, Breanne Evans, Branndon Evans, Asheem Turnbull, Darion D. Williams, Jeramy J. Williams, Molina M. Williams, Ethan J. Williams and Zerée V. Williams; nephews:Christian M. Dawson, Noel George, Jerry “Azik” Meyers, Nathaniel “Asward” Meyers, Elroy Robinson, Eugene Robinson, Ludence Robinson, Alpheus Todman, Paster Aludus Todman and Mario Todman; nieces:Marilyn Meyers Benjamin, Juel Daniel, Pearlette Dawson, Juliet Dawson, Muriel Fenton, Violet Galloway, Dr. Christine D. Hodge, Ivena Hogan, Cheryl Meyers, Evelyn Meyers, Jacqueline Richardson, Laris Robinson, Bereniece Robinson, Bernice Robinson, Uris Robinson Wilson, Leona Todman-Thomas and Iris Todman; daughter-in-law, Jasmin F.D. There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at Apostolic Faith Church.

Interment will follow at Western Cemetery No. 3.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
