Lynnette Leona Thomas Dies

Lynnette LeonaThomas ofEstate Grove Place died on Sunday, Feb. 5, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters: Renee A. Johnson and Renise M. Johnson; sons: Rodney A. Johnson and Randall A. Johnson; grandchildren: Shamal Ballantine, DuQuan Auguste, LaShanda, Rakeem, Rashawn, Nacoya and Reniqua Johnson, Jaheem, Jahlise and Jahzre Francis; brother, Jerome A. Dickerson Sr., sister, Magnolia F. Thomas; sister-in-law, Ella Mae Dickerson, nieces: Sharon Wright, Tarsha Alonzo, Jean A. Nesbitt-Matthew, Carol James-Bamogo, Cathleen Browne, Lucille James, Shavel Karel, M.D., Anique Thomas and Jamila Dickerson; nephews: Jerome (Grovian) Dickerson Jr., Kevin Dickerson, Charles (Cappuchi) Byron, Michael Nesbitt, Steve Dye, Shawn Phillip, Stacy and Ronald LaFond, and Jason Dickerson; nieces-in-law: Kim Dye, Sheila Byron and Daphne LaFond; and nephew-in-law, George Matthew Sr.
She is also survived by cousins and other relatives: the Archibald, Powell, Jackson, Bascombe, Grant, and Bartley families, Calvin and Ilene Herbert and family, Ina Mathais and family, Leona Watson and family, Gwendolyn Hodge and family, Roy Simmonds, Joyce Romney and family, Edgar M. Iles and family, and Adelbert Bryan and family, special godchildren: Allison Hall, Elise Georges, Risa and Cheri Gordon, Kevin Williams, Lacelia Stanley, George Jr. and Jared Matthew; special friends: Donald (Budah) Francis, Carmen Ephraim, Rita Gordon, Helen Miller, Sandra Russell, Rita Phillips, Lauraleen Knight, Doris Miller, Inez James, Vuriley Harris, Donna Ferdinand, Thelma Williams, Timothy & Krisee Deal, Unita Georges, Elroy and Elisa Harrison, Vivian Furet, Natasha Johnson, Yolande Browne, Zena Tutien, Higaldo and Lunsford Williams, the Speak the Word Ministries family, the Auguste family; as well as many other friends and family too numerous to mention.
May the soul of Lynnette Leona Thomas, through the mercy of God, rest in eternal peace.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Speak the Word Ministries in Peters Rest. Burial will be in the Kingshill Cemetery.
